Apple Podcasts: Web Embed Players

Embed Shows & Episodes on your Wordrpess, Wix, or Squarespace websites.

  • This tutorial will show you how to use the new Apple Podcasts Web Embed Players.
  • Embed players on your website or any site that supports iFrame Embed codes.
  • Play an episode, browse recently published episodes, and open Apple Podcasts
  • Players will resize automatically to the width of the website embedded.
  • Responsive players meaning they work on all mobile browsers

  1. Apple Podcasts Preview Page (search for your show in a browser)
  2. Apple Podcasts Marketing Tools webpage.

  1. Search for your show (or favorite podcast) in Google, etc (example search: Mike Murphy Unplugged, Apple Podcasts). You can also get the Apple Podcasts Web Preview link in the Apple Podcasts desktop app by clicking on the 3 dots and selecting ‘Copy Link’.
  2. Click on the link in Google Search to open Apple Podcasts Preview Page
  3. Click on the Share Icon in the top right
  4. Click on the Code (</>) icon to copy embed code to the clipboard
  5. Open WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, etc (your website)
  6. Create a new blog post
  7. Paste in embed code in the ’Text Editor’ or code block
  8. Apple Podcasts Embed Player for the Show will be available in the post
  9. Play the latest episode by clicking on the play button.
  10. Click on ‘See More Episodes’ to open the Apple Podcasts app

Create a New Blog Post & Paste iFrame Embed Code in Text Editor

Apple Podcasts Show Player Embedded in WordPress
  1. Search for your show (or favorite podcast) in Google, etc (example search: Mike Murphy Unplugged, Apple Podcasts)
  2. Click on the link in Google Search to open Apple Podcasts Preview Page
  3. Click on an individual episode to open the episode page
  4. Click on the Share Icon
  5. Click on the Code icon (</>)to copy embed code to the clipboard
  6. Open WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, etc (your website)
  7. Create a new blog post
  8. Paste in embed code in the ’Text Editor’ or code block
  9. Episode Player Player should be available in the post
  10. Click ‘Play’ to play the episode on the website. Click ‘See More’ to open Apple Podcasts.

  2. Search for Show Title
  3. Click on individual episodes or Podcast Page
  4. Go to Web Player
  5. Click ‘Copy Embed Code’
  6. Paste in the website post
