Need To Cancel HBO After Binge-Watching ‘Barry’?
Tutorial: This article will show you how to cancel subscriptions you made on the new Apple TV iOS App (current iOS version 12.3). There is a video tutorial at the end if you want to skip the reading part.
Apple TV App:
Apple released a new Apple TV app that makes it very easy to buy or rent movies and subscribe to premium channels such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc. You can also sign up for free trials and end the end of the free trial you will be automatically billed unless you cancel the subscription.
I signed up for a free 14-day trial of HBO to binge-watch ‘Barry’ which I thought was great, but I did not want to pay the $14.99 per month when the trial was over because I do not watch much TV. So I canceled the Apple TV subscription to HBO using my iPhone X and here is how to do it.
Useful Tip: Use the Apple Reminders App whenever you start a free trial of anything that requires you to cancel. Set a reminder for the day before the trial ends so you can cancel before being automatically billed.

How To Cancel Apple TV Subscriptions on iOS Devices
The Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Open Settings App on iOS Device
- Click on Profile Pic/Name at the top
- Click on iTunes & App Store
- Click on Apple ID Link at top of page
- Click ‘View Apple ID’
- Click ‘Subscriptions’
- Select & Click Subscription to cancel (HBO in my case)
- Click ‘Cancel Subscription’
- Click Confirm
- Done
