How To Open Google Contacts & a Secret Keyboard Shortcut 🤓

This tutorial is fast and easy. I am going to show you where Google Contacts are located in Gmail and I am also going to share a super secret keyboard shortcut to open Google Contacts from anywhere in Gmail. Many people were frustrated with Google hiding Contacts, so this is for those who are still looking for them 😁.

How To Open Google Contacts in Gmail
- Go To Gmail.com and sign in
- Click the 9 Squares in Upper Right 👆
- Drag and drop icons to re-arrange
- Locate Contacts & Click to open in new tab
- Go to Gmail Tab to return to Gmail
- That’s it. I told you it was fast and easy.

Keyboard Shortcut (‘gc’) To Open Google Contacts
Note: You must first enable keyboard shortcuts in Gmail. Once enabled, all you need to do is type ‘gc’ and Google Contacts will open like magic 🎩.
- Go To Gmail.com and sign in
- Click Gear Icon in Upper Right
- Click ‘Settings’
- Click ‘General’ tab in Gmail Settings
- Scroll to Keyboard Shortcuts
- Check Box ‘Keyboard Shortcuts On’
- Save Changes at Bottom
- Keyboard Shortcut = gc
- Type gc from anywhere in Gmail & Contacts will open
