- Creating the Life You Want is not Easy.
- Getting paid to do what you love is not easy.
- Creating online content is not easy.
- Those who make it look easy are called pros.
They put in the time and effort that most are unwilling to do. They never stop learning and practicing. There is always room for improvement.
Why People Quit
The reason most people quit vlogging, podcasting, blogging and insert any other craft here is that it’s really hard and takes a lot of time and practice and dedication to master.
Translation: It’s a pain in the #$!
The Easy Button Recipe
I help people figure things out. I like a good challenge. But most of the people I help do not like it when I explain the amount of work they need to do in order to solve their problem. ‘But you make it look so easy’ or ‘There must be an easier way.’
- I have created content everyday since Sept 25, 2015 (the day I launched my podcast) (990 days ago if anyone is counting).
- I created over 365 videos last year.
- I learn and watch tutorials every day about tech and creativity and have done so for about 10 years straight.
- It’s still not easy for me.
If you want to make quality content and succeed in online business and content creation, here are the key ingredients: hard work, consistency, persistence, and patience.
Repeat for as long as it takes which will probably take years and then people will wonder why making content is so easy for you when they think it’s a real pain in the ?$&.
The Truth
It’s a grind.
It’s relentless.
It’s not always fun.
It can really suck.
It takes time and patience.
The End of the Rainbow
It hasn’t happened to me yet, but I imagine that one day you become an overnight success and all that hard work and practice pays off and it all becomes worth it. Until then, I’ll just keep creating every day and getting better at everything I do.
