Problem: What if you have many images in your Medium.com story and you want to choose a specific one for the featured image or thumbnail that Medium will use to promote your story?

Solution (Really easy, btw): To make any image in your story the Featured image:

  1. Click on any image and notice the green bounding box
  2. Press Shift + F and the green stroke will turn red.

The image with a red border will be the Featured Image/Thumbnail for your Medium Story (Look for the little dropdown at the top of Medium article that will confirm the featured image)

(Spoiler: Video tells you to hit Shift +F and that’s pretty much it :D)
