Quick Tip:
Essential Sound Panel in Adobe Audition CC

New feature in late 2016

Essential Sound Panel makes it very easy for podcasters to add audio effects by dragging sliders until it sounds good and then saving a preset to use the next time in just one click. Easy.

Unify Loudness:
Match Loudness (-19/-16 LUFS)

Repair Audio:
Noise Reduction

Improve Clarity:
Add Dynamics (aka Compression)
Adjust EQ

Creative: Probably don’t need for podcasting (Reverb, etc)

You can also add preset for Background Music & Sound Effects.

Essential Sound Panel was introduced by Adobe to make it easier for podcasters and home studios to get good sound without having to be an audio engineer.
