Wish List Disclaimer:
The Rode Procaster is one microphone I have not used, but I have researched extensively and it is at the top of my wish list. ~~~~~~~At $229 I think it is at the sweet spot for Podcasters and would probably be my #1 recommendation for new podcasters. For whatever reason it does not get much hype in the podcast world, but my gut tells me it should. One of these days I will buy one and sing its praise.

Love Rode Microphones

I own 6+ Rode microphones and love them all and know the Procaster was made for broadcasters and I can recommend with confidence.

Do not get confused with Rode Podcaster USB mic. The Rode Podcaster does not get great reviews.

The Rode Procaster is in that perfect middle range of price and quality along with the RE-320. Pair that with a nice Focusrite Scarlett audio interface and you have a perfect podcast setup without breaking the bank.

The slightly odd soundtrack features a didgeridoo by the Aboriginal Australians over 1500 years ago and is a wind instrument also known as a wood trumpet.
