On an Insta-Misssion

I get things done and slow and steady wins the race for me. Most of the time. Since starting my journey online, I am excited and want to keep making progress and moving forward. Time escapes me and sometimes it feels like I just can’t keep up with the clock. I know, I know, we all have the same 24 hours in a day. And I’m an early riser, but when I am at the height of my stress, time has the upper hand. How much before 4:00 am do I need to wake in order to feel in control?

I am out of time today for this post, but committing to my daily entry. Does that count? Is that where we’ve come to in our lives? I know hitting publish or finishing the script of a podcast episode is sometimes more a relief than an accomplishment. I have fulfilled my duty for the time being and on to the next thing. This mentality is not sustainable. Control and efficiency will cure this overwhelming busy stress that eats up the clock. And routines. If you stick to a habit of timeliness and efficiency, you are in control. Then we encounter reality, right? Balance, control, productivity….The buzz words online are annoying, but there is much truth among the noise. It’s up to you and me to adopt our own system that keeps us in check and removes the busy and replaces it with flow and balance. I will get there is that is when I am at my best. A place I always try to be. Not always possible, but I’m a fixer, I’ll make it happen. I hope you try too. Busy and stress is not the fun part of running your own business and life. Let’s enjoy the ride. Cheers!
